​​My formal training is in Dermatology, Internal Medicine, and Aviation Medicine. 

I am a Senior FAA-designated AME. I have been an AME since 1997.

I am an active private pilot and aircraft owner, based at KPUB.



Airman medical exams are conducted at 525 Skyway, Pueblo, CO 81001, at the Pueblo Airport in the blue metal building (former Rocky Mountain FBO) located on the west tarmac in front of the private hangers.  Office access is either from the front door facing the airport security area (if you fly in) or the street side door (outside of the security area) at the end of Skyway St. just before the airport fence (arriving by car).

I am authorized by the FAA to perform 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class flight medical exams.    I also offer the non-FAA Basic Med certification option. However, a Basic Med applicant must self-investigate to determine if qualified, find and complete the application form, take the required online course, and bring the completed application form to me at exam time.

FAA Airmen applicants must fill out online form 8500-8 found at https://medxpress.faa.gov and bring to the exam their confirmation #. Be sure your name is identical on both the application and your driver's license. Please also bring your latest medical certificate, SODA certificate (if applicable), and driver's license for ID verification.

Classes 1, 2, 3, or Basic Med - physical exam (including urine test for glucose and protein) --- $150

Class 1 physical exam + EKG --- $200
(EKG baseline required at age 35 and annually after age 40)

​All fees must be paid in cash. We cannot accept checks or credit cards.

Female pilots are encouraged to bring along a chaperone for their medical exam.
